Being the burial grounds for all the royal family especially the Kabakas (Kings) in Buganda, the Kasubi Tombs were constructed in 1882 and were officially made burial grounds in 1884 and are located on Kasubi Hill which once had  a palace to the kabakas of Buganda in Kampala Uganda. They include the Muzibu  Azaala Mpanga which is the main building with  foru royal tombs lying within and it is enclosed with in a vault. It is a significant habitual, political and social place for the Baganda People and was constructed using ordinary materials like wood, reeds, wattle, thatch etc.
